Film Stills:
In one scene from I,Robot, Will Smith's character, Detective Spooner, is interrogating the robot suspected for murder, Sonny. The camera angle is showing the back of Sonny, really focusing on the Detective. Just before this still, the angle was reversed because Spooner was interrogating Sonny; the reverse camera angle seen in the still shows the dynamic switch from Spooner being the interrogator to the interrogatee. This instills the feeling that robots in this film do have the "mental" capability to think critically.
The other still from I,Robot show Detective Spooner and DR. Calvin staring out into a "sea" of robots, painting the idea that mass production of robots will allow AI to outnumber the humans, clearly pointing the minds of the audience to the notion that a robotic take over is possilbe.
