Final Reflection

1) In my English 103 class I've realized that I cannot rely on just my writing ability, I actually have to put in much more work and time into a college level paper. I know that I have not put in much effort in the past few weeks but now I am playing catch up and I realize how much time and effort I should have put in the past. Now I am trying my best to make up work, but as I'm following the templates laid out for me by the professor I am finding it smoother to work on. From what I have done I've learned that there are a multitude of valuable reference sites that I can find information on, and that basically allows me to be an even better, more experience writer.

2) Any future students, PLEASE DO THE WORK ON TIME. I cannot stress this enough, get the work done, do the work at least on time and you will have a great standing in the class. Also make sure you use research encyclopedias to get your information at a top tier level. Google is great for finding general information, but sites like LexisNexis or the Gale Virtual Research Library really let you hone in on your topic. I feel had I kept up with the online portion of class I would have had an easier experience writing my paper, but because I was always playing the catch up game, it made the class a little more difficult and stressful for me. Luckily for you, I’m giving you this information early! So please heed what I say and be the best writer you can be.

3) Like previously stated, the one thing I would do differently basically covers everything… keep up with the work. Much less stress would be put on me now had I stayed consistent.

  1. Great Post, I agree this class is about more than writing ability, and the timing in the class is very important. The templates are a good point as well, they make the actual structuring of the paper much easier.
